RC603

Why RC? Well, I built the first one for Ruben Caruana. In fact the scaled down Mustangy kind of body was all his idea. Ruben was one of the guitarists in a band called “Adunda” at the time and wanted a guitar with low profile frets and a mega low action. It also had to be very quiet electrically for recording through a POD into a virtual studio, hence the EMGs.

This RC603 has a one piece American alder body, a rock maple neck and ebony fingerboard. EMG active pickups, ABM surface mounted bridge and Schaller machines. The RC633 (sorry no photos) has a WD deluxe low friction tremolo bridge with solid saddles.

The RC 603 pictured is finished in Peppermint Green with a violet pearlescent lacquer finish. Under stage lights the paint job gives off flashes of violet light.
