Like it heavy? This 7 string is a monster. I built this for Tom Johnson, a few years ago now. He uses it through a Line Six XT Pro and a Peavey Ultra Tube. The amp has been tweaked with a little help in the tube selection department from Derek at Watford Valves. The original "Sheffield" speaker has been moved into the extension cab to make way for a Celestion Century in the combo. The combined sound is phenomenal.

This 702 has a Basswood body, quarter sawn American maple neck and Amazon rosewood fingerboard. The 24 jumbo frets are on a 25.5" scale length. Pickups are DiMarzio Blaze. The headstock is reinforced with a 3mm thick African Ebony veneer and carries Gotoh mini machines. The bridge saddles are hand made from EN2 medium carbon steel.
