Well I guess you can see where the origins of this design come from. The body is Basswood finished in black with a mirror finish top and pickguard courtesy of Sims Custom Paint Shop.

The pickups, a BKP Irish tour between two BKP Nailbombs, sound superb. A massive sound but still articulate with stunning clarity and string definition. Controls include single volume and tone pots with pull push switches for coil tapping, a five-way selector switch and a push button kill switch.

The neck is maple with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard, double acting truss rod and Gotoh 381 machineheads. The neck profile is as close as it's possible to get to Steve Vai's JEM; super slim and very fast.

The bridge is an Original Floyd Rose set in a "Lion Claw" routing resulting in flawless tuning stability even when hard pressed.

I'm a lefty myself so I really enjoyed playing this guitar before shipping it out.
